Easiest way to get to el Cabo de la Vela:
The best way to get to El Cabo de la Vela is to fly to Santa Marta or Riohacha. From there, a bus will take you to
Riohacha. From Riohacha transport is available to take you to El Cabo de la Vela. The two hour drive from Riohacha takes you through a unique semi-arid landscape of cactus forests that leads right up to the sea.

Bogotá to Santa Marta between $50.000 and $300.000
Bogotá to Riohacha between $150.000 and $500.000
4x4 from Riohacha to El Cabo de la Vela $350.000 one way at any time
or
4x4 from Riohacha to el Cabo de la Vela $60.000 per person, leaves at 8 o'clock (information hotel Castillo del Mar or call us)
